1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ChainMoments, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

ChainMoments provides a service to anchor text messages to the Bitcoin blockchain. Once anchored, messages become permanently public and immutable.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Comply with our Content Policy
• Not submit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Not include personal data or sensitive information in messages
• Not attempt to abuse, exploit, or overload our service
• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

4. Permanence & Immutability

Critical: Once a message is anchored to the blockchain, it cannot be edited, deleted, or removed. This is permanent and irreversible. By submitting content, you acknowledge and accept this permanence.

5. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to moderate content before it is anchored to the blockchain. Content that violates our Content Policy may be rejected without refund. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations.

6. Payments & Refunds

• All payments are processed through Stripe
• Prices are displayed in EUR and may be subject to VAT
• Refunds are available only if content is rejected during moderation
• Once anchored to the blockchain, purchases are final and non-refundable
• Unused message credits do not expire

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions or downtime
• Bitcoin network delays or congestion
• Third-party service failures (Stripe, email providers)
• Loss of data due to technical issues

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By using our service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process, store, and anchor your content to the blockchain.

9. Limitation of Liability

ChainMoments is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, reputational harm from public content, or financial loss.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or our Content Policy. Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
